I know it isn't spring yet but I want to share the fresh new name and look of my photography. After some debate I have decided to leave my current name behind and start my business with a fresh new name. A name that is easier to say and spell. A name that is more memorable and inspiring.
Please visit my new blog and photography business Apple Fresh.
Thank you to all my family, friends and clients for giving me the inspiration to move forward with my passion.
Sincerely,
Helena Knittig

Precious Baby M. - Newborn
Baby M. is a very strong little guy and has been since he entered our world 9 days ago. He was welcomed by two very loving parents and is very precious. I want to share just a couple images because I know how excited the parents are to see the photos. Honestly, I couldn't stay away from looking at Baby M either. Enjoy this precious little man.
There will be more sneak peeks coming in the next few days.

More of Baby D.
As promised, here are some more of Baby D. She may not have cooperated very well but her pictures are still gorgeous. From small smiles to big yawns and winks, enjoy!!
You can definitely tell she gets her hair color from Daddy.
I have to leave some surprises for Mom and Dad so this is the end of sneak peaks of Baby D.

Baby D. Cute as a Button- Newborn
This weekend I had the chance to meet Baby D. She definitely is cute as a button! She decided not to follow her usual routine. I guess at 9 days old she is still a bit unpredictable. Thanks for allowing me the opportunity to meet her. Enjoy!
I am positive that there will be a few more sneak peeks coming soon.

Handsome Bachelor - Snow much fun!!
Christmas Favorites
We had a great Christmas here at home. I hope everyone else out there had an enjoyable Christmas. Relaxing by the fireplace, toboggan ride down the hill, hot chocolate, eggnog, Christmas cookies, family, friends, parties and giving to others. I decided to experiment a little with my camera and have some fun.
Here are a couple of pictures of Santa when he made his appearance at the kids Christmas party.
The girls had a blast. I remember quite clearly how Ava repeatedly explained to me that she wanted to hide behind me and put her hands out to receive her gift from Santa. I don't know why exactly as she is not afraid of Santa at all. When it came time she very happily stood proudly in front of him and explained how she wanted Hungry Hippos for Christmas.
This is an image of the ice that was clinging to the trees around the neighbourhood the week of Christmas. I stood outside in -25 degree weather to capture this image.
I always love to capture images of the Christmas tree with the stockings placed neatly underneath on Christmas Eve. I decided to turn on the Christmas lights and turn off all remaining lights in the house. I am very pleased with the result as this is exactly what I was hoping for.

Candy Cane Kisses
These two girls love candy canes. They couldn't wait to eat the props I had for the Christmas session. Little B. ran around the house screaming "cane". A. kept repeating "open this now please, I'm hungry". I really enjoy seeing love between sisters and I could not divert them away from eating the candy canes to kiss or hug during the session. All of a sudden by surprise A. leaned over and started hugging and kissing little B. Then she said "We are all sticky. I want to go play now". Here are my favorites from the candy cane kiss session.

Exciting News
I have been slacking since mid-December on updating my blog. I do have a Christmas session that hasn't been blogged but the clients fully enjoyed their photos during Christmas. Over Christmas I decided to fully engage in the enjoyment of having my family together full time. It was a great holiday full of family and I decided to not blog anything during this time. Now that the New Year is here I will be fully updating the blog over the next week.
I hope that all family, friends and clients had a great Christmas and are ready for all of the great adventures in 2010.
This year I will be mentored by a great photographer and friend, Hope Walls. This is a very exciting adventure for me and I thoroughly thank her from the bottom of my heart for allowing me this opportunity.
I will also be open for new clients. This is the year that the business will develop and I offer you to contact me for a session and enjoy a limited time offer on session prices. If you have been considering capturing your family, maternity, newborn, toddler or telling a story through photos this is the time to take advantage of a great deal. I enjoy getting messy with kids and would love to tell a story about their first birthday cake smashing or sweet stories of your daughter's daily tea party with her favorite bear. Perhaps you love walks or climbing a tree with the family and would love to capture the moment. You can contact me by email at knittigphotography@gmail.com for more details on the session building prices.
For anyone who has had a session with me already I will be offering a Referral Program soon.
Stay tuned for a bachelor session coming soon.
Happy New Year!!

Having fun with Victoria and Garrett - Maternity
Victoria and Garrett welcomed me into their cozy character home to capture some maternity photos. I was hoping to capture a few images outside but the weather did not cooperate at all. We received a LOT of snow and temperatures dropped down to -30 with the windchill. They are a great couple and were willing to try anything. Thanks Wylie for participating. Enjoy these images from the session.
These shoes travelled all the way from Italy for this little fellow. Love the color.
I wanted to incorporate this canvas of the Eiffel tower into some photos and learned that it held a special memory for Victoria and Garrett.
Thanks for allowing me to capture your memories.
